Sales engineer for solar systems (m/f)

Tasks and responsibilities

study and analyze customer needs and prepare an optimal layout of panels for the customer
create cost estimates for small power plants based on provided data and production analysis for a specific location, specifying the materials and work required for the implementation of a photovoltaic power plant
prepare offers that include all technical information
participate in the preparation of technical documentation for public tender procedures
generate project documentation for photovoltaic power plants in accordance with the cost estimate and contract
prepare forms required by HEP (Croatian Electric Power Company) for customers to obtain permits for the construction of photovoltaic power plants and documentation for obtaining a permanent operation certificate
commission power plants, including field visits and parameterization of inverters and other devices
communicate with customers and provide technical information in response to inquiries related to photovoltaic power plants
supervise the operation of power plants and, in case of identified faults, rectify them

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles
fundamental understanding of electrical systems, as well as the principles of operation and characteristics of electrical components
technical knowledge of solar power plants
experience in installing solar power plants and commissioning them
proficiency in electrical engineering, electrical installations, systems, and equipment is essential for effectively identifying potential faults and having a complete understanding of the operation of the systems being commissioned
strong negotiation skills
analytical skills for gathering, organizing, interpreting, and analyzing data
ability to identify and solve complex problems
driver's license category "B."
